Unfolds, reborn, remade, redesigned
Wings stiffen and fill;
    Like collagen plumped lips
Jewelled chitinous covering deepens;
   Into organic enamelled art nouveau
You were late to wake this year
Metamorphosis is served cold
But no less the magnificent for it
